Let
Gator Aviation Build You a Murphy Moose Kit Plane
With most kit planes taking
thousands of hours to build (even
with the Quick-Build option), it's a truly daunting task for most people.
Even if you plan on spending 30-40 hours a month, it is still 6-8 years before
you and your kit aircraft are in the air.
At Gator Aviation our fully
trained & certified technicians dramatically speed up this process, so
your float plane can be done in a few months instead of several years.
Spend more of your time flying that new float plane and not trying to find the time to build it.
Kit
Plane Building Laws Have Changed in Canada
Under Canadian law
(CARS Subsection 507.03 (b) and Section 549.01) a kit plane buyer is now allowed:
“...to contract
for professional assistance in the construction or assembly of parts of
the aircraft provided the work is subject to the builder’s overall
control…”
The Process Starts With...
It all starts with hiring the right people for the job. You don't hire a cake decorator to do
your drywall. Our staff of 6 consists of five Airframe Structural Technicians,
one with an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ticket. These men have 50 years of
combined experience at companies like Helipro International &
DeHavilland Aviation to name a few. Our apprentices are graduates of the
UCFV Aerospace Program and are under strict supervision during the aircraft assembly.
We
Build Our Aircraft to Commercial Industry Standards
All our airplanes are built to the same industry standards as the DeHavilland
Beaver or any Cessna with every part Pro
Sealed, every mating surface Pro Sealed, every part coated with anti corrosive Zinc Chromate. All commercial
industry standards are met or exceeded and in no way is the quality of the
aircraft ever compromised with short cuts or time frame compression.
